Some of the most impressive features of the new 2025 RAM 1500 are its top engine options that ensure improved performance, reduced emissions, and optimized fuel efficiency while delivering more horsepower and torque than other naturally aspirated V-8 and boosted six-cylinder engines in the light-duty segment.
The 2025 RAM 1500 will be offered with new 3.0-liter Hurricane and Hurricane High Output engines, members of the Stellantis Hurricane Twin-turbo family. They are the most sophisticated six cylinders in the segment. The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 will also be part of the lineup.
These engine options will be combined with the TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission, allowing seamless gear changes for improved fuel efficiency, higher performance, and drivability.
The 2025 RAM 1500 goes beyond performance and efficiency. The new RAM 1500 Tungsten trim level includes impressive features. It also offers sleek, contemporary exterior designs, offering the bold and heroic presence you expect from RAM. A multi-function tailgate is available, adding even greater utility to the segment’s cargo management and storage leader.
It is also available with lockable storage, featuring the RAMBox and a 115-volt outlet. The class-exclusive RAMBox cargo management system includes versatile, weatherproof, lockable, illuminated, and drainable storage bins built into the bed rails.
The 2025 RAM 1500 features a new rear axle optimized for improved performance, enhanced durability, and high efficiency. This truck offers a 3.21, 3.55, or 3.92 axle ratio, allowing drivers to maximize fuel efficiency and its capabilities. Also, it is available with a traditional open or limited-slip differential that automatically divides torque among the rear wheels to maximize traction available at each wheel, which is available in 2WD or 4WD. It includes a locking rear differential that allows the driver to lock or unlock the differential as needed, providing enhanced traction to the truck when required.
The 2025 RAM 1500 is technologically advanced and innovative. The multimedia features include a Uconnect 5 system with the largest screen in the lightweight segment. It is available with a new 14.5-inch touchscreen, a segment-first 10.25-inch passenger screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a digital rearview mirror, and a Head-up Display (HUD).
You can also get a class-exclusive dual wireless phone charging pad. This new model also includes an onboard power inverter that can offer up to 1.8 kilowatts and two covered outlets inside the bed to power your devices.
